HONG KONG
Television Movie

Shown here, are a few frames of the infamous circa 1950 movie, in which, Kwan Tak Hing played "Wong Fei Hong" and, of course, Shek Kin played the villain.

Although, he is deceased, Kwan Tak Hing's past interest in Kwongsai Mantis is well known and he can be seen in several photos with the late Master Lam Sang in the 1960's.  However, he was not as well received by the China Kwongsai Mantis counterparts.

Shek Kin may be best remembered for playing the evil Dr. Han, in Bruce Lee's, 'Enter the Dragon'.  In fact, it is still common among Hong Kong folks today, to refer to any bad guy as a 'Shek Kin'.

In this movie, the bad guy and his cronies, in an effort to steal mantis technique, stirs up trouble between Kwan Tak Hing's clan and the Kwongsai Jook Lum Temple.  Fight scenes are numerous and several parts are actually played by genuine Hung style and other Sifu of the time, instead of professional actors.  The film has that vintage black and white 'old movie' feel.

Although, the mantis performances are by Chu Gar Tanglang players, the story dialogue and background banners all state Kwongsai Jook Lum Temple.  Wong Yook Kong was said to have taken an editorial assist in the movie and left much footage on the cutting room floor.

WFH vs. JLT is not the actual movie title.
