Before, during and after the sumptuous Guangdong style meal,  mantis boxing erupted.  At first, it was difficult to enjoy and digest the local snails, shells and other exotic (mostly sea)foods simply because my eyes ruled my appetite. 

Of my five ancestors, sight ruled over taste. My stomach went empty as my eyes tried to digest all the mantis going round.

Upper right - Lau Sei Kei Sifu speaks of closing the door and contracting the lower "dan tien"; Below - Lai Wei Keung Sifu repeats the importance.
