Statistics show that ebook retailers are selling millions of units annually with a steady rate of growth and interest. You will likely not find this China Southern Mantis eBook survey on any best seller list. Neither can you reproduce this survey. "The times they are a changing" as Bob Dylan once sang.   The days from this Survey are gone.  Some years past now since this Survey, I hope to find all these "brother-friends" again in the future.

Epublishing is the way of the future. Stephen King brought ePublishing to the attention of the world by publishing his novel, "Riding the Bullet," exclusively in ebook form.  In the first 24 hours of availability, 400,000 copies were downloaded - more than any other book in any format!  Some years past mobile phones were few, but today everyone has one or more!

The most popular ebook last year (as of this writing), third quarter was "The DaVinci Code" with "What Fluffy Knew" coming in at number twenty nine. If you haven't read any or many ebooks, simply do a web search for "ebooks" and whatever you are looking for you will find.
Including the China Southern Mantis Survey now.

About This eBook:
Some 50% of web users today have a monitor resolution of 1024 by 768 dots, 40% have 800 by 600, 5% have 1280 by 1024,
and the other 5% have other sizes.

If your monitor's resolution is set at 1600 by 1200 dots this ebook might look too tiny to you. However, creating it at that resolution
might make it look too large for the great majority of users.  Obviously, I've created this book for the majority of readers.  Sorry to the Mac's.  Try your translation software and let us know.

Please set your monitor display to 1024 x 768 dots for the best viewing.
To do this go to the start menu; click control panel; click display; click settings and change accordingly.

Also observe the following:
Once the .EXE file is opened, it will be locked to your PC and print, copy, paste and view source will be disabled as they are in most ebooks.

After closing and upon opening this ebook, it will likely start on the last page you viewed, so that you may continue where you left off.  (This feature is disabled)

Anything less than 5.0 in Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape may not be consistent in how they display content.
Get on board and upgrade yourself and your browser.   In this case its broken so fix it.

Note on Chinese Translations:
China is a diverse culture with many ethnicities and languages.  Putonghua, or the common language, in the past, called the National language, is universal.  It is not uncommon to hear those from the same Province pronounce differently.  I have endeavored to write Pinyin, the standard script today for Chinese, however, I have a strong background in American Chinatowns where most don't speak universally, therefore, you may find phonetic translations as well.  Consult your English-Chinese Dictionary or vice-versa.
